In 2018 my dad was diagnosed with Acute myeloid leukemia (AML).

My dad and I have always connected in many different ways, but the main thing that always kept us in sync was the great sport of Hockey. The sound of a puck slapping against the blade of a heavily taped sher-wood, the incredible sound of 2,000 ice chips being sent into the air from quick snow-plow hockey stop, the raw energy and sportsmanship and the timeless sound of a slapper rattling off the post has always been something that deeply resonated with us both. When news breaks from his medical team at Roswell Cancer Institute, the sport has always been there for an easy segway to a much more happier place.

On May 14th, 2019 my dad, Randy John Schreiber passed away @ Roswell Cancer Institute.
